About the Event

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is hosting events this month to share information on their Interim Early Action Proposed Plan that will address Mercury in groundwater below the Cell Buildings Area at the LCP Chemicals Superfund Site.

At the public meeting, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Staff will discuss the Interim Early Action Proposed Plan. After a brief overview of the proposed action, citizens are invited to share verbal comments, intended for citizens who prefer to share spoken comments (rather than written). Comments can support or oppose the action, or provide constructive information to inform the agency’s decision-making process.

Information sessions will also be held during the dates and times below. Interested individuals can drop in for as long or as short as you like.

Glynn Environmental Coalition staff and Technical Advisor, Frank Anastasi, will be available throughout these events and the public comment period to help the general public understand this critical step in the Superfund decision-making process.
