About the Event

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is hosting events this month to share information on their Interim Early Action Proposed Plan to address Mercury below the Cell Buildings Area at the LCP Chemicals Superfund Site.

At the information sessions, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency staff will be available to meet one-on-one with residents and will be prepared to:

  • Answer questions about the proposed action; 
  • Provide information about what they are proposing, what alternatives they considered, and the basis for their preferred cleanup plan; and, 
  • Share a timeline for the next steps.

Interested individuals can drop in for as long or as short as they like between 11 AM and 1 PM on Thursday, August 29, 2024

A community meeting will also be held starting at 5:30 PM on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Howard Coffin Park, 1402 Sonny Miller Way, Brunswick, GA 31520. Click here to find more information about the public meeting.
