Glynn County is plagued with four nationally designated and twelve state-designated hazardous waste sites. The Glynn Environmental Coalition works to involve the surrounding community and the vast number of visitors in the EPA cleanup decision-making processes.
Staff from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) are coming to Brunswick on Thursday, November 30th to discuss the alternatives from the Focused Feasibility Study that were evaluated to address the mercury contamination under the former Cell Building Area at the LCP Chemicals Site Operable Unit 2.
