About our Yoga Instructor - Jen Hatcher:

Jen Hatcher found yoga later in life and the more classes she attended the more she wanted to learn. She graduated from Peachtree Yoga as a 200 RYT in 2014. Jen loves teaching and learning, and will forever be a student of yoga and life. Jen is also the founder of Donation Beach Yoga SSI which was started in August of 2020. She teaches twice a month on Coast Guard Beach and all donations are given to a local Golden Isles charity.  Jen encourages her students to grow, learn, and challenge themselves, but also enjoy themselves and have fun. Yoga has this beautiful way of shining a light on the beauty that is within us all and as it’s discovered the glow is amazing.

About Twitty Park:

In 1924 local businessman T. L. Cain dedicated land for a park as a gift to Glynn County. For 98 years Twitty Park has served as a scenic icon of live oaks with a Spanish moss-draped canopy at the intersection of Frederica Road and Sea Island Road. Residents use the park for picnics, biking, running, walking, and observing and appreciating the natural landscape that makes Georgia’s barrier islands beautiful and unique. Twitty Park is a natural oasis on St. Simons Island in our ever-developing community.

Twitty Park is a public park intended to be held in the public trust for the citizens and visitors of Glynn County and beyond. The Glynn Environmental Coalition and local citizens are working to ensure that Glynn County maintains Twitty Park for the use and benefit of the citizens and visitors of Glynn County in perpetuity.
