About the Event
The EPA is coming to town! Last year, the EPA released the Peer-Reviewed Toxicity Values for Toxaphene. The Glynn Environmental Coalition and our Technical Advisor determined that this information is so technical in nature that we needed to facilitate outreach and develop a fact sheet to help our community in understanding this report. A team of EPA staff will be traveling to Brunswick to help explain the Risk Assessment and Toxicity Assessment processes, the limitations of those assessments, and what the recently released report means for our community and remediation at Terry Creek.
