Spring Membership Outing - Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge
Join the Glynn Environmental Coalition for our First Friday Membership Outing! This month we will be traveling to Folkston to visit the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge! GEC Members will be treated to a 90-minute boat tour through the swamp.

About the Event
Join the Glynn Environmental Coalition for our First Friday Membership Outing! This month we will be traveling to Folkston to visit the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge! GEC Members will be treated to a 90-minute boat tour through the swamp. Guides will share their knowledge of the swamp’s cultural and natural history, tell interesting swamp stories and identify plants and wildlife along the way.
GEC Members will meet at Sunrise Diner (5031 New Jesup Highway) and carpool to the Okefenokee National Wildflife Refuge where we will be treated to a boat tour of the swamp starting at 9:30 AM. Following the tour, attendees are invited to grab lunch before heading back to Brunswick.
This is a FREE event for our GEC Annual Membership Community. Please RSVP to assist us in coordinating carpooling.
