About the Event
On the menu: Join us for a luncheon with students from the University of Georgia’s College of Environment and Design. Glynn Environmental Coalition is collaborating with Landscape Architecture students to create a comprehensive site plan for locations within the City of Brunswick: 1) the former Pinova Site, and 2) the Lanier Plaza/Glynn Avenue Corridor. Both locations have industrial histories and legacy contamination that have resulted in designated hazardous waste sites and brownfields redevelopment.
The 4th-year Senior Undergraduate Landscape Architecture Students (4) will virtually present their comprehensive site plans that have accounted for both social (community) and ecological considerations (green infrastructure, remediation, land use, etc.).
