About the Event
Join us in Brunswick for an engaging, on-the-ground exploration of how green infrastructure is helping our coastal community thrive. This guided field trip will take participants to local project sites where nature-based solutions—like rainwater harvesting, permeable surfaces, living shorelines, and stormwater wetlands—are improving water quality, reducing flooding, and building resilience.
Along the way, you’ll hear from local experts and community leaders about how these innovative approaches are being designed, funded, and implemented right here in Brunswick. Whether you’re a resident, student, policymaker, or environmental advocate, this experience offers a unique opportunity to see sustainability in action and learn how green infrastructure can be applied in your own neighborhood.
Come ready to explore, ask questions, and be inspired by the power of working with nature to protect and enhance our community.
RSVPs are required to assist with transportation planning.
We will share a tentative itinerary as we get closer to the event. Stay tuned!
