About the Event
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is hosting an event on May 20th, 2025, from 5:30 to 7 PM at Rise Risley (2900 Albany Street, Brunswick, GA 31520). Interested individuals can drop in for as long or as short as they like.
The agency's staff will be available to:
Share information on their Interim Early Action Record of Decision that will address Mercury in groundwater below the Cell Buildings Area at the LCP Chemicals Superfund Site
Provide updates on the progress of cleanup activities taking place at the Terry Creek/Hercules Outfall Superfund Site
Present status updates for the Brunswick Wood Preserving and Hercules 009 Landfill Superfund Sites
Glynn Environmental Coalition staff and Technical Advisor, Frank Anastasi, will be available at the event to help the general public understand information presented by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
