September 3rd - GEC First Friday Lunch – 11 AM at Jim’s Corner Cafe, 1312 Newcastle St., Brunswick. Our guest speaker will be Mindy Egan from the Initiative to Protect Jekyll Isl. concerning the Conservation Planning Committee meeting on Sept. 8th.

Wednesday, September 8^th, Jekyll Island Conservation Planning Committee Public Meeting, 5:30 to 7:30 PM, at McCormick’s Grill (Golf Course), Jekyll Island.

September 27^th (Mon.), 6:30 to 8:30 PM, September 28^th  (Tue.), 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Selden Park Gym, 3401 Ross Rd., Brunswick  – LCP Chemicals Superfund Site Public Health Assessment, public meeting for the release of the document.

October 2^nd (Sat.), 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM –Coast Fest, One Conservation Way, Brunswick.  GEC volunteers needed.
